Protective Style Challenge 2015: Week 7&8
At this point flat twisting starting being fun and rather than starting while thinking how long will this take to finish, I found myself excited to see the end result.
Encountering knots and tangles while flat twisting was frustrating so I decided to stretch the hair by plaiting chunky braids and thoroughly detangle before starting a flat twist to ensure a smooth twisting session. At this point I found that it only took me 3-3.5 hours to install the flat twist.
I particularly liked this style because I could flat twist closer to my hairline without damaging it. This is the beauty of flat twisting your own hair.
